Badalucci
Chef Marco Badalucci
Badalucci Restaurant in Lugano , a short walk from the center of Lugano, was born from the idea of renewing and remembering. In the dishes, the key word is "excite."
The Chef works tirelessly to create new combinations and his staff work with attention to detail. From small gestures, such as serving small welcome snacks or decanting water into glass jugs hand-blown in Italy, the aim is to pamper you. The rooms are designed to make guests feel at ease, in a sober and refined environment, the dishes follow the seasonality of the products; the fish, very fresh, comes from the Milan market. Meat comes mainly from the Swiss market and special attention is paid to vegetarian and vegan dishes, which are never trivial. The well-stocked and constantly changing wine cellar provides a good selection of local Italian, French and world wines.
Chef Badalucci, born in 1977, from a small island called Procida, took his first steps at the restaurant Il Galeone where he acquired the love and passion for this work, after which he landed in some of the best starred restaurants including Le Calandre in Padua (3 Michelin stars) and Fulvio Pierangelini's Gambero Rosso (2 Michelin stars), where he acquired the technique and respect for raw materials. Thus began his thirst to become independent and walk in his own footsteps, to be himself the Chef of important restaurants in the world. In Italy he will be appreciated by Italian and international gastronomic guides.
