A stay between
history and nature

Bellinzona e Valli is an authentic region, characterised by a variegated territory where nature, culture, gastronomy, history and traditions intertwine with all their peculiarities. It is a destination yet to be explored and with great potential for development thanks to its enviable position in the centre of Ticino, where the routes leading to the St. Gotthard, Lukmanier and San Bernardino cross, on the so-called Via delle Genti. An area where nature and culture blend in perfect harmony.

Thanks to the Bellinzona Fortress, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, you will find yourself in the Middle Ages in no time at all, and on Saturday mornings you cannot miss the stalls of the traditional town market. The architecture of the town, the forts of hunger and the ancient monuments and monasteries, dialogues with the modern works designed by great architects who have embellished the historic centre and the entire surrounding area.

Explore the wilderness of the Leventina, Blenio Valley, Biasca and the Riviera and follow one of the many hiking trails to discover lakes and alpine landscapes. Discover the numerous mountain bike trails that wind their way through the valleys and stay overnight in one of the bike-friendly facilities scattered throughout the region! If you love gastronomy, come and taste the local products in one of the many grotti in the valleys and don't miss the chance to try the typical specialities of the different regions!
