Founded in 1803 as a meeting place for politicians, writers, artists and notables, it became Lugano's Salotto.
The Grand Café Al Porto Restaurant, located in the historic centre of Lugano, is the privileged meeting place for a rendezvous, for breakfast, an aperitif, a business lunch or with friends and for tasting a creation of the well-known Confiserie Al Porto.
The suggestive rooms offer the ideal setting for presentations, receptions, company dinners, private parties or special events. The restaurant and private rooms are open from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Open in the evenings from 7 p.m., with prior booking, for receptions and dinners for 12 to 80 people.
