Meta
Chef Luca Bellanca
The META Restaurant is situated in a modern and welcoming location inside the imposing Palazzo Mantegazza. It overlooks the shores of the lakeside promenade of Paradiso, just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Lugano.
The location was opened in March 2009. Its philosophy is to offer simple and genuine products and ingredients. Once assembled thanks to creativity and passion, they are transformed into refined and special dishes, dishes worthy of a Michelin star. In fact, the Michelin Guide awarded this recognition to the restaurant in 2020. The kitchen boasts a gastronomic path that offers both a seasonal gourmet menu and a selection of quick dishes suitable for every need and every occasion. Each dish is created from products that have been carefully thought out and prepared. Chef Bellanca and the entire team pay special attention to quality, freshness and seasonality.

Chef Luca Bellanca
Italian by birth, Luca Bellanca has numerous international experiences, from the Gulf of California to the Mediterranean coast of Spain, where he was able to hone his techniques in leading gastronomic restaurants. These experiences allow him to offer a Med&Fusion gastronomy, assembling the high quality ingredients of the vast Mediterranean region with surprising exotic notes.
Chef Luca Bellanca and his kitchen brigade propose a "Med-Fusion" philosophy, creating a happy encounter between Mediterranean cuisine and exotic notes characterised by tastefully unusual marinades, or dishes far removed from local traditions but adapted to the taste of the land and to awaken the senses.
