The Meatballs

 

On the occasion of the year dedicated to Maestro Martino, with the Blenio Bellissima exhibition at the Landfogti Museum in Lottigna celebrating the Prince of Cooks, born in the mid-15th century in the Blenio Valley and considered the first modern cook in History, Ticino Gourmet Tour also wants to contribute to the festivities with the theme "Meatballs," since the first mention of the term Meatball is found in the great Maestro's recipe book.  

For two months, starting from May 15 until July 15, 2022, some restaurants on the Ticino Gourmet Tour circuit will offer meatball recipes reinterpreted in a modern way and according to the chef's style and type of cuisine of the restaurant. 

While the great Maestro Martino proposed the classic meatball that was almost a roulade, our chefs indulged in using different flavors and ingredients.
