Our Ristorante 'al Lago', located in the lakeside garden, the only green oasis on Ascona's piazza, offers an enchanting view of Lake Maggiore and the Brissago islands.

The restaurant is part of the Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss, located on Ascona's lakeside promenade, 300 metres from the centre. It offers period-style rooms and consists of 3 separate buildings grouped around a lush Mediterranean garden with an outdoor pool.

In summer at the restaurant, weather permitting, all meals are served on the terrace overlooking the Piazza di Ascona and Lake Maggiore. A magnificent setting in which to enjoy one of the specialities prepared by Chef Alessandro Longhi and his highly trained team.

At midday we serve a choice of the day's dishes/menu and delicious snacks. In the afternoon you can enjoy delicious snack dishes, cakes, ice cream and coffee. In the evening, this elegant restaurant serves delicate and sophisticated à la carte dishes typical of local and Mediterranean cuisine. We also prepare an ad hoc children's menu.
