The Vicania Restaurant, which is located in the centre of the alp of the same name, not far from the centre of Vico Morcote, a few kilometres from Lugano, was created from the careful renovation of an old stone farmhouse. From this rustic yet elegant building, surrounded by greenery and with a splendid herb garden, there is a breathtaking view of the surrounding pastures.
The Vicania Restaurant offers exquisite local cuisine consisting of great traditional dishes such as braised beef, pork cheeks and roast kid, as well as homemade risottos and ravioli. Simple but gourmet dishes, prepared with care and attention to local ingredients. The selections of alpine cheese and local cold cuts are a must. Home-made: wines from the Castello di Morcote estate, grappa, extra virgin olive oil, honey and vinegar, which can be purchased at the restaurant. For a romantic dinner, for a family lunch while your children play on the lawn, for a business lunch or for banquets and weddings, the manager Massimo Andreossi and all the staff will always serve you with love so that you can spend a relaxing and unforgettable moment.
