The restaurant is a blend of Italian and French taste and focuses on quality. A quality that starts with the selection of products, all fresh and of first choice. A light cuisine is proposed, without altering the food and the flavours. Our menu is entirely replaced at the beginning of each season and the tasting menu is renewed every month, with the aim of always surprising our guests with new gourmet dishes.

Locanda Orico in Bellinzona has been awarded one Michelin star and 16/20 Gault & Millau points (Aufsteiger des Jahres 2003). It is also well listed in other guides such as La Suisse Gourmande and Le Guide Bleu. It is also a member of Les Grandes Tables de Suisse, San Pellegrino Sapori Ticino, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and Commanderie des Cordons Bleus de France. The quality of the Locanda is guaranteed!

My passion for cooking started as a child, when I spent my holidays in Graubünden and enjoyed exploring every corner of my grandparents' hotel.

Chef Lorenzo Albrici
My name is Lorenzo Albrici, I was born and raised in Bellinzona and since 1998 I have been working as chef-owner at the Locanda Orico restaurant in Bellinzona. My first experiences as a cook were in the kitchens of big hotels in the Engadine (St. Moritz) during the winter seasons and in the summer seasons in big hotels in other important Swiss cities.

Our menu is entirely replaced at the beginning of each season and the tasting menu is renewed every month. Also ideal for banquets and special occasions!
