Tamborini Vini
An authentic history, three generations and the desire to innovate continuously
Even in the hustle and bustle of the contemporary world, we need authentic stories. The Tamborini family tells us one. It is an exciting story, which is 75 years old and has involved three generations.
Tamborini Vini is a historic but constantly evolving winery. One characteristic that has certainly always distinguished the company is the desire to innovate, giving life to new products that best respond to the taste and needs of an increasingly knowledgeable and attentive consumer. Currently, the company cultivates about 27 hectares of specialized vineyards, distributed in the best wine-growing areas of Canton Ticino. The production vineyards are located in Comano, Lamone, Gudo, Neggio, Porza and Castelrotto. Integrated production is practiced in all vineyards. Modern look, in step with the times, elegant and welcoming, sensory, young and dynamic. From now on, this is how Tamborini decides to present itself to its audience at the Lamone location.
At Vinoteca, Tamborini's point of sale, you will be welcomed by Marco Rasetti, a professional Sommelier, who will be able to guide you the best way to choose from more than 500 labels. In addition to Tamborini wines, you will discover a wide selection of other wines from Ticino, Italian, French and Spanish wines, Champagne and a space dedicated to spirits.

The historic Ticino brand recently finished major investments by creating new spaces, such as a wine shop, a bottling plant and a high-tech warehouse.
Recognizing his efforts both in the vineyard and in the cellar come several awards, among the most important in Switzerland. Claudio Tamborini was honored among the best 150 winemakers in Switzerland by the prestigious Gault & Millau 2023 guide (out of a total of about 1650 Swiss winemakers). The pinnacle of the palmarès was reached in 2012, when Claudio Tamborini was awarded the highest award at the Swiss level, that of Best Winemaker of the Year.
